WIN or lose at Twickenham in August, British Army 7s boss John Voss is hoping to see his charges receive the same rousing reception as they were given last year. Voss was honoured to have his side involved in the 2013 World Club 7s at Rugby HQ but he was more touched by the magnificent support on offer.
PREMIERSHIP RUGBY today confirmed that there will be a military presence on the Twickenham pitch during the World Club 7s, on 16 August, with an exhibition match between the Army and a Rugby For Heroes select side.
THE World Club 7s received a major boost today with the news that it will be available in more than 200 million households worldwide, a significant increase in global television coverage for the event.
The second World Club 7s Combine, which will be held at London Wasps Training Ground on 3 August, has already drawn international interest from players looking to have the chance to run out at Twickenham in a major international tournament.
